Marine Anchor

Hall anchors are primarily used on small to medium-sized vessels, such as coastal fishing boats and small cargo ships. They are commonly employed in ports, anchorages, or coastal areas with sandy bottoms. In suitable sediment conditions, Hall anchors can also be used to secure ships in inland waterways. For instance, in the muddy and sandy riverbeds of the Yangtze River's middle and lower reaches, Hall anchors are often used for temporary berthing.

Types of Marine Anchor

  • Hall Anchor
    Hall Anchor
The grip coefficient of Hall anchors is relatively high. Under favorable underwater geological conditions, such as clay, silty soil, etc., it can provide stable grip.
  • Spek Anchor
    Spek Anchor
Spek anchors are typically stockless anchors with a crown plate and reinforcing ribs at the crown. This design provides a good fit to the anchor chain tube, allowing for a seamless connection to the bow and high stability at anchor.
  • HHP Anchor
    HHP Anchor
Compared with ordinary anchors, HPP Big Grip Anchor has a higher grip ratio, which can provide stronger grip under the same weight condition, and can better fix the ship to ensure the stability of the ship in various sea conditions. For example, in severe environments such as strong winds and strong currents, the HPP anchor can effectively prevent the ship from shifting.
  • Delta Anchor
    Delta Anchor
It is a triangular (“Delta” means triangular) shaped anchor claw structure, a shape that may be better able to spread the force in certain underwater conditions than a traditional claw, preventing the anchor from loosening easily when subjected to high tensile forces.
  • Bower Anchor
    Bower Anchor
The head of the bower anchor has two stable and wide anchor jaws. These two claws are usually symmetrically distributed and are shaped like a “V” with a wide opening. This shape allows the anchor to have a more uniform grip on the seabed and is well adapted to different types of seabed topography, such as sand, mud and small gravel substrates.
